According to comScore and echoed by The Economist, China is the country with most Internet users in the World, accounting for 179.7 million users out of one billion worldwide. The United States of America, until recently the leader, has 163 million users. With a far lower Internet penetration in China than the roughly 50% in the US, we will only see China widening its lead in this chart. Clearly a market not to be neglected.
A good way to enter the year of the Ox that just began.
Happy Chinese New Year! Gong Xi Fa Cai!

Hi Jose.
Have you already start to learn some Chinese?
You might want to take a look at Lingoes, because it has support for Chinese.
I have just tested and it works fine.
It has support for Google Chrome but only through the clipboard translator mode.
That is one of the reasons I still use firefox, though I use Chrome too.

Thanks Tom, I am looking more at online translators that I can use on the mobile while on the go. So far, I found this one:

¿como son los teclados chinos?
It seems that Chinese people familiar with pinyin, just type the words as pronounced, and the computer translate into the kanji character.
Pinyin is the representation of Chinese phonetics with Latin characters.
Other methods in Wikipedia… but you might need to be Chinese to understand them…

Very interesting!
I don’t know if I told you that my piano teacher is Chinese. Well, she married a month or so, and I decided to congratulate her with some Chinese words. I watched a video-blog for the pronunciation and told her:
Xin Xin Xiang Yin
and
Hua Hao Yue Yuan Ye
Can you translate them?
I’d like to learn Chinese but I think another hobby does not fit in my life schedule
By, the way, do you know the Optimus Maximus keyboard? In that, you can put anything on the keys…
Other day I’ll tell you about my “DIY Das Keyboard”…
Is it really good? For Chinese translation so far I have used one which I downloaded at http://home.interlecta.com
The Spanish to English and French to English translations are also good. I can’t say for the others because I haven’t used them.
